Joint Refugee Batik Merapi

Batik Kampoeng Laweyan in collaboration with Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta and the Batik Mahkota Laweyan held a batik training for the victims of the eruption of Mount Merapi from Balerante village, Klaten. The training was conducted in Klaten military headquarters with the aim to provide skills provision to those who have lost their livelihoods in their villages, which have been razed to the ground.
